The official title of this Master is ‘Vase with fifteen sunflowers’. It’s painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1889 is currently displayed in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The painting is part of a series of seven still lifes of sunflowers, each with different details.Between his initial version and their repetitions, by 1889, there were seven Arles Sunflowers. However, over the years, two have been lost to the public.The paintings were created to decorate the bedroom of Vincent’s good friend, Paul Gauguin.
